Over the Thanksgiving break, Cleveland City Schools showcased their talents as several students participated in the Beta Club State Convention in Nashville. Several students received recognition with plaques, which are awarded to the top five finishers in each category, highlighting the exceptional achievements of the students.
Blythe-Bower Elementary
Blythe-Bower Elementary's students brought home a total of six plaques. The school's commitment to excellence was evident as students competed in various categories, showcasing their talents and knowledge.

Cleveland Middle School
Cleveland Middle School made its mark at the State Convention with its sixth appearance, demonstrating the school's continued commitment to academic excellence. A total of 34 students participated in an impressive 42 events, both online and in-person. The dedication and enthusiasm of these students were evident as they spent the Thanksgiving break engaging in various competitions.

Cleveland High School
Cleveland High School also made a strong impact at the state level, with on-site competitors and outstanding performances in academic tests and creative arts. Noteworthy achievements include:
- Paige Featherngill and Madalyn Dauphinais: First-time entry in Performing Arts Variety Act.
- Madalyn and Grace Dauphinais: First place in Science Academic Tests.
- Maggi Creel: First place in Fiber Arts Division 1.
Congratulations to these outstanding Cleveland City School students! The victories achieved by Cleveland City Schools at the state level have opened doors to national competition. The National Convention is scheduled to take place at the Savannah International Convention Center in Savannah, GA, during June 2024.
