
Cleveland High School Thespian Troupe 505 recently held its semi-annual inductions at the Betsy Vines Memorial Theater. The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an honorary drama organization for high-school theatre students. To be inducted, a member must have served 100 hours inside theater productions at CHS. The ceremony was led by Troupe Officers: Austin Hart, President, Caelie Porter, Vice President, and Christian Armstrong, Secretary.
Congratulations to all the inductees and honor thespians! The Troupe is under the direction of Don Markham, theater teacher at Cleveland High School.




Our bowling team season came to a close today. Tommy Rollins, Ethan Mayo and Jo Colon made the All District team! Our very own Seth Lamanga was the Coach of the Year, too. Congrats!





Tonightโs game are for 5:30 (JV) and 7:00 (Varsity). Itโs a boys only evening of games versus Tyner.

Calling all Former Blue Raiders! Youโll be allowed to enter the game for free tonight. Come one, Come all!

We celebrated Nic Nicodemus (Tn Tech) and Destun Thomas (Univ of Memphis) this afternoon as they signed scholarship papers to play football in college.

This last Saturday our Blue Raiders assisted passing out gifts to local families. Thank you for giving back to our community and city!

Tonight we celebrated Hannah Nall with her official signing to continue to play golf at Lee University. Way to go, Hannah!


We welcomed home Ish Sanders tonight to celebrate his jersey hanging from the rafters. Ish is our all-time leading scorer at CHS. What a great night!

Our very own CHS student Anika Pierce was honored last night. We are so proud of you!
Cherokee Area Council of Boy Scouts of America had their โGathering of Eaglesโ last night to honor all the 2020 and 2021 Eagle Scouts and Anika was the recipient of the Cherokee Area Councils Eagle Scout of the Year award! Anika built a playhouse from scratch for the Isaiah 117 House which provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement. Anika got her Eagle Scout Rank on May 13, 2021 which made her the first female Eagle Scout for the Cherokee Area Council which serves 11 counties in southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia.





Tonight our bowling team and swim teams were in action. Way to go Blue Raiders!
