Cleveland High School announces the retirement of its Head Softball Coach, KJ Harris, after 12 years. Coach Harris, who also served as the head coach of Cleveland Middle School for six years, leaves behind a legacy of dedication, leadership, and exceptional achievements.

Originally from Madisonville, Kentucky, Coach Harris was a standout athlete on scholarship to play softball and basketball at Lee University.

Under Coach Harris's guidance, the Cleveland High School softball team reached new heights, such as a historic final season where the team secured the district championship for the first time in 25 years.

"Coaching at Cleveland High School has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," said Coach Harris. "I am incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together and grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented and dedicated athletes. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I'm excited to spend more time with my friends and family."

While she won't be on the field anymore, you can still find Coach Harris teaching social studies at Cleveland Middle School. Her passion for education and mentorship continues to inspire her students in the classroom.

Thank you, Coach Harris!
