This week, Student Government Association started their campaigns for Presidential and Vice Presidential representative elections! Our first spotlight for these candidates goes to Leah Hargis and Aleigha Thomas. Combined, they are involved in the freshman mentor program, FCA leadership team, NHS, SNHS, Jr. Civitan, SGA, CHSlive, Criminal Justice, CHS Football/Wrestling Cheer. Outside of the school these young ladies are involved in the Distinguished Young Women program, and have received the Daughters of the American Revolution Youth Citizenship Award. “Our goals are to celebrate diversity between individuals whilst diminishing animosity and establishing unity throughout the student body and staff. We want to highlight mental health awareness in order to create and keep CHS a healthy and successful environment. We believe it is important to celebrate student’s progression over perfection.” -Leah Hargis & Aleigha Thomas Keep an eye out for these two girls as they continue to campaign and grow their plans for a hopeful 2021-2022 school year!
