Safety as a passenger on the school bus and at a bus stop is a top priority for school leaders.

Bus Stop Rules

  • Arrive at your bus stop at least five minutes ahead of your scheduled bus arrival time.

  • Please stand back from the edge of the roadway while waiting for the school bus.

  • Do not litter at the bus stop.

  • Do not approach the bus until it has come to a complete stop. Stay three to four feet away from the edge of the road.

  • If the bus is on the opposite side of this street, wait until the bus has come to a complete stop with the sign activated. Look both ways before crossing the street.

Bus Rules

  • Follow the bus driver's instructions.

  • Remain seated.

  • Do not endanger yourself or others.

  • Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop before you get up from your seat.

  • Help keep your bus clean and safe.
